Democratic Rep. Mikie Sherrill won the New Jersey governor's race, NBC News projects, defeating Republican Jack Ciattarelli after a hard-fought contest in which President Donald Trump loomed over voters' choice.

It's good that some moderates/centrists are winning, at least with the governorships, but I have to say that her victory speech was pretty cringe. It reminded me a little of a forced, mechanical pep talk given by a high schooler reading something that was hastily written.
