The far right and left does not have to be people in positions of power. I'm referring to the people that make up the extremes of the parties voting bases.

I'm also not equating what they are trying to get done, just that they each will turn just as rabid with their purity tests. You're inability to find any fault with the left or whataboutism away ones that you can't easily deny is hysterical.

Here's a clue, none of us are on a team, pointing out weaknesses or problem in our systems even if it affects things we may feel close to should be a good thing. Instead you treat it like keeping score and have to make sure your side wins.

Snoofy, I'm sure you'll take it as confirmation bias, but I don't he was really either. I think he was a confused kid, who was easily swayed into aspects of the far left and the far right at different times in an effort to 'belong' to something. I had a friend like this growing up, at any one time he was involved in whatever the last thing he was exposed to.

But so as to not avoid what you think I'm avoiding, he definitely had far right influences, they just weren't the only ones.
