If antisemitism has long plagued France, dating back to the Middle Ages, it's now metastasizing in new, alarming ways, according to a recently published book by French journalist Nora Bussigny. Titled "Les Nouveaux Antismites" ("The New Antisemites"), it exposes virulent Jew-hatred endemic to many far-left organizations in France, infiltrated by Bussigny as part of a lengthy undercover investigation. Using a false identity, Bussigny uncovered pervasive antisemitism and anti-Zionism, now a common denominator among diverse groups that often disagree on other matters. "I saw with my own eyes to what degree Islamists, far-left so-called progressive' militants and feminist, LGBT and ecological activists are closely linked in their shared hatred of Jews and Israel," Bussigny told The Times of Israel during a recent interview on Zoom.
In the book, Bussigny shows how radical anti-Israel groups, including Urgence Palestine, Palestine Vaincra and Samidoun (designated a terrorist organization by several countries), receive political support in France, sometimes public funding and access to municipal facilities where they hold meetings and workshops seeking to radicalize young people.
Making "Les Nouveaux Antismites" more noteworthy is that its author is not only not Jewish, but half Arab-Muslim, adding to the enmity she faces.
My question has to do with what you said:
"The Israeli Way.If you always tell the truth you never have to remember what you said.
They are a terrible influence on the US.
We have assimilated their Deepest Values.
Moneylending, Murder,and Aggressive War."

Now, once again, what problem do you have with Americans getting loans in order to buy a car or a house?
Thanks.
#7 What in heaven's name have you got against "money lending."
Few Americans have the cash to buy a car, and especially a home (you know, the American dream).
So, they take out a loan.
So, what have you got against Americans wanting to own a home or a ca?
Doesn't make sense.

Oh, I'm sure it came instantly to your mind.
Why, there's even a book all about that.
Are you on their mailing list/listserv?
#23 Yeah.
I knew where to find a copy:
The United States Holocaust Memorial MuseumYou forgot to mention that part.
Why is that?

And lifted from Oscar Wilde's Lady Windermere's Fan, sung by Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders.
Top five female voice supported by Martin Chambers' excellent percussion.

Chrissie Hynde was at Kent State University on 4 May 1970 when poorly-led soldiers of the Ohio National Guard opened fired on unarmed college students.
No one was ever punished for that massacre.

:] Neil Tennant is educated and well-read, writing pop songs with wit often lifted from the shoulders of giants.
Pet Shop Boys - I Get Excited - they make a lot of songs that aren't on their albums, mostly b-sides like this one have the more political and queer cultural references.
We're both in the gutter, that's no surprise
What does it matter, when I look in your eyes?
We've lost all our money, we're thrown out of bars
We're lying in the gutter, but we're looking at the stars
I get excited, you get excited too
I get excited, you get excited too
I hear the sound of the subway, the sigh of the heat
The click of the visitors' heels on the street
The rattle of the taxi, the scream of the cars
The clatter of the dustbin and the beat of my heart
I get excited, you get excited too
I get excited, you get excited too
I don't know why, I don't know why
I don't know why, I don't know why
You're in my soul
My body moves to your control
Baby, I've been thinking about you
All night long, and the neighbours are talking
I don't know why, I don't know why
I don't know why, I don't know why
We're both in the gutter, that's no surprise
What does it matter, when I look in your eyes?
We've lost all our money, we're thrown out of bars
We're lying in the gutter, but we're looking at the stars
I get excited, you get excited too
I get excited, you get excited too
I don't know why, I don't know why
I don't know why, I don't know why

BTW: The Immortal Maestro threw in his brief homage to the Bard of Avon in the Ninth Symphony.
At 50:00 of Maestro Herbert von Karajan's orchestration you will hear it: www.youtube.com
There are other examples of Beethoven honoring Shakespeare, but this is the most noteworthy.
Endnote: The Grand Maestro referred to one of the greatest violinists in his era as "My Dear Falstaff" because apparently Ignaz Schuppanzighe was getting plump and kvetching about playing difficult scores, as well as climbing the stairs to Beethoven's flat.
