Judge Blasts ICE 'sloppiness' Claiming 4-year-old had Marijuana Conviction

A federal judge reprimanded Donald Trump's administration for claiming that an immigrant seeking his release from custody was convicted for marijuana possession in 2009 -- when he was 4 years old.

Courts are reaching the point where they can no longer trust claims made by the federal government. Trump's corruption of government will result in real criminals walking free because even the few remaining competent prosecutors will be viewed with a greater degree of skepticism from the courts.

Is this because Trump's DOJ is so egregious they started to lie to the courts recently or because they're so incompetent they are screwing up underhandedness that has always been a tool used by DOJ but overlooked by deferent judges?

"They submitted the document in court filings "despite the differences in birthdate, birthplace, parents' names, and immigration status," West Virginia District Judge Irene Berger noted in her order to release him on Tuesday."

Start locking up the people that are lying under oath and see how fast it stops.

Re #1

Yup!

A February 2026 ruling by a federal judge in Oregon declared that the Department of Justice (DOJ) can "no longer be presumed to be acting in good faith".

Judge Mustafa T. Kasubhai stated that the DOJ's actions and public statements, particularly in a voter roll dispute, stripped the agency of the trust typically afforded to federal law enforcement.

MAGA are telling constitutional observers to comply with 'the law' and let ICE do their job. If they had their way we would still be drinking tea and housing British soldiers while still bending the knee. ---- MAGA and the Torries.

You say you want a revolution?

"Comply or die!"

Words that can easily start a revolution.

I am not sure if you have noticed or not ... Americans don't like being told what to do by hateful authoritarians.
