"Texas Representative James Talarico, a Democratic candidate in the race, told MS Now last week:

"The reason the Trump administration and their billionaire friends are trying to silence me and this movement is because they're worried that we are going to flip Texas in November."

U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas, another Democratic candidate in the race, previously told Newsweek:

"We are living in unprecedented times, and so I think an unprecedented candidate is exactly what it's going to take to actually be able to flip this seat."

Pro tip to Nate Silver: keep your mouth shut and don't tell these MAGA hacks about their problems. Let them find out on their own ...

How is it even possible that Paxton is as popular as he is among Texas evangelical Republicans? Is their stated belief in Jesus Christ and the Bible just a complete lie?

Talarico surrogates are running commercials warning Democrats that Crockett is the choice of Republicans, because she can't win. She's crushing Talarico.

That's apparently old news now:

"A new poll from Emerson College shows that Texas state Rep. James Talarico (D) and state Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) have single-digit leads in their respective Texas Senate primary races.

The survey, released Sunday, found that 52 percent of likely Democratic primary voters backed Talarico, while 47 percent backed Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D)."
