NEW: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the United States has asked Ukraine for help intercepting Iranian-made Shahed drones, citing Ukraine's battlefield expertise. Zelenskyy said any assistance will come only if it does not weaken Ukraine's own defenses.

One wonders if the Iranians start targeting Dummkopf Trumpf's resorts and hotels in the Middle East.

The Iranians won't target the Trumpf Hotel in Istanbul or Incirlik AB in Turkiye as that might a) invoke NATO Article V; b) injure innocent Turkish airmen and civilians.

Also the Turks and Iranians cooperate with each other against separatist Kurdish groups.

In that case, it must be a mistake in targeting that sent an Iranian missile into Turkey.

From FoxNews for the benefit of DR MATAts:

Turkey warns it reserves the right to respond to the incident

Now I gotta wash this laptop with bleach after loading their drivel. I'm sorry, computer! :-)

Wow.

Thanks for that.

Iran and Turkiye don't have a history of antagonism against each other.

Tehran and Ankara have worked together for years against the PKK/PJAK.

Look at all these recent high-level defense and economic cooperation meetings between Turkiye and Iran.

Apparently we have capacity to make 51 Patriot missiles per month

That's an industrial limit

Given the complexity of the missile system ramping up production is gonna be difficult

I am sure there are strategic reserves to draw upon but we have been providing them to Ukraine and Israel for years

Amazing we have this shortage given we spend a trillion dollars per year on the military

China's Xi could very well be licking his chops in meetings with the military, saying "wait .... wait .... almost" to invading Taiwan.

Oh, they'll let the US exhaust their supplies first.

Trump is stupid, cubed.

This is clearly Biden's fault. If he hadn't given so many weapons to those Ukraine guys, we would be able to protect our Arab pals. Trump's world-wide military adventures have had nothing to do with weapons shortages the US is experiencing. How ironic that now Ukraine is being asked to provide drones to Gulf States, to help protect them. Of course, doing so would reduce the defensive capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, to protect their homeland. Where were those Gulf Sates when Ukraine asked for their support? Sheiks: it cuts both ways.

In the meantime, the Iranians will conduct an asymmetric war in the region for as long as their weapons and cash hold out. Remember: there are millions in Iran who absolutely hate the US and Israel, and will gladly give their lives to kill one Jew, GI or pilot...

Unpossible!

Trumpy says we can fight this war (that is not a war) forever!

Very soon we will come to believe we have always been at war with Iran.

The past is alterable. So soon we will believe we have always been at war (which is NOT A WAR!) with WestAsia.

"The past was alterable. The past never had been altered. Oceania was at war with Eastasia. Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia."
