There's probably not much interest in this, but Evil's back story is pretty interesting for those who are unfamiliar with it. He was one of my instructors at the USAFE Weapons School when I went through as a student back in 2010.

The cancer thing that Heater Heatley mentioned kind of got to me. My dad passed from ALS and vets are 50% more likely to get ALS than the general population. He advocated for ALS being classed as service connected and one month after he passed away it was listed as a disease entitled to presumptive service connection. I mention that because from what Bandit8 said in the post it sounds like Col. Peck may have done the same kind of thing for cancer and the Red Eagles.

I salute Col. Peck for his service to the country and his service to his fellow vets.
