Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' commercial space company is close to launching a rocket from Florida's Space Coast. Blue Origin's unmanned rocket called New Glenn is expected to launch on maiden voyage any day.

I remember, back in the day, when a space launch would preempt network programming for continuous coverage of the launch.
Back in the 60's a rocket launch into space was a huge event.
I still have the newspapers I saved when John Glenn went into space.
But nowadays, a rocket is ready for launch?
Aside from, I hope no one is hurt when (if?) it launches ...
Yawn.
I mean, we're six decades later.
