Back in the days of the Tea Party movement, well, I will say that the apparent expressed misogyny of the Tea Party was why I left the Republican Party and became an "unaffiliated voted" here in CT. Unaffiliated because here in CT, the Independent Party seems to be just an arm of the GOP.
So CT gives me the option of being "unaffiliated."
Of course, I can no longer vote in primaries.
I think that is wrong.
