A US Army NCO is in custody after he allegedly used his personal handgun to shoot five fellow soldiers this morning at the Fort Stewart military base in Georgia. The five wounded soldiers are in stable condition and are expected to recover. The suspect, Quornelius Radford (28), is alive and in custody after being subdued by other solders. Radford is an automated logistics sergeant and was assigned to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team. Radford does not have any combat history and will face court-martial charges. The suspect is believed to have been involved in a personal dispute with one of the victims and had an argument with him the previous day. The next day Radford arrived at Fort Stewart with a 9mm gun and opened fire on the soldiers.
