Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

The Trumpf junta's cancellation of what would have been one of the world's largest solar power projects has some industry observers fretting over the future of renewable energy on public lands. They predicted the Esmeralda 7 project, by far the largest solar project that had moved through the permitting process under former President Joe Biden's Interior Department, won't be the last major project to be cancelled. This was one of a number of Nevada desert solar projects that had been steadily advancing through regulatory review by the Biden administration. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) updated its planning website for the Esmeralda 7 project noting that the environmental review of the project was "cancelled." This is the latest move by the idiotic Dummkopf Trumpf junta to slow or block clean energy projects as they greedily enrich their cronies in the fossil fuel industry while accelerating planetary extinction.

Meanwhile, China continues to lead the world in wind and solar power generation, with twice as much capacity under construction as the rest of the world combined. China also activated the world's first commercial thorium-powered nuclear reactor, marking a major breakthrough in safe and sustainable energy.
