A white male was arrested Monday inside Atlanta Intl Airport after his family alerted police that he was having "mental challenges" and had threatened to "shoot it up." The family of Billy Joe Cagle (49) told police that he was streaming on social media and was heading to the airport to conduct an attack. They also told police he was in possession of an assault rifle, which was later found inside his vehicle. Just as Cagle entered the south terminal, Atlanta PD arrived and arrested him. He was not armed at the time. Police searched his Chevrolet flatbed truck that was left parked outside of the airport and secured an AR-15 assault rifle with 27 rounds of ammunition inside of it. There was also a dog in the vehicle, which has since been returned to the care of Cagle's family. The dog was not harmed. Link: YouTube.
The AR-15 is the weapon of choice for mass shootings in the US and Republicans proudly wear AR-15 lapel pins.
