Look out, world. One of President Donald Trump's longest-serving White House aides Monday gave the clearest explanation yet of an epochal shift in America's global role, as the administration charts a brazen course after decapitating Venezuela's regime.

So, Deputy CoS Stephen Miller is saying that the United States can do anything it wants to anyone or any Country because the US military is the most powerful on the planet?

Yes, it's backstopped by military power.
Nobody denies that.

But it's not military power.
It's backstopped by military power.

If it's so damn important why do we spend 3-4% of GDP on Defense and 18% on Health Care?
