Nota Bene: This DODIG report dated 12 March 2026 does not use "DOWIG."
This disgraceful high-ranking counterintelligence nightmare, a West Point graduate, also broke his jaw when he fell a third time in a drunken stupor. Where US Army MG Antonio Aguto's aide-de-camp was or whether he had a US Army CID PSD accompanying him during this fiasco in Ukraine is unclear.
Excerpt from the 56-page DODIG report:
"During this investigation, we received an additional complaint that MG Aguto's counterproductive leadership style created a "toxic environment" within SAG-U headquarters. The complainant described MG Aguto as a "notoriously toxic leader" who was disrespectful to subordinates and would berate subordinate senior officers in front of junior personnel. "
~snip~
A senior field grade US Army officer, my ex-commander, was brought before a Major-General for similar vicious toxic conduct (and paperwork fraud in his promotion packet). The two-star general was so irritated and uncertain of this disgraced officer's true rank and horrendous conduct, he ordered the suspect to appear before him in civilian clothing.
This two-star general then unleashed the locusts on the officer before filing court-martial proceedings against him.
Meanwhile, one of my favorite US Army Generals that I worked hard for, a kind, sober, super-intelligent and well-read West Point graduate, never made it past Brigadier-General.
