"Joshua Haymes and Brooks Potteiger (Pete Hegseth's Christian pastor) pray imprecatory psalms against US Senate candidate young James Talarico (D-TX): "I pray that God kills him. Ultimately, that means killing his heart and raising him up to new life in Christ ... If it would not be within God's will to do so, stop him by any means necessary."

James Talarico (D-TX) has a simple message on social media on 28 Feb 2026 four days before his Texas Democratic Party primary win over Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) in their race for the US Senate: "No more forever wars." Link: Antiwar Candidates Will Win in 2026

In 2025, a white supremacist from Texas was arrested for threatening Zohran Mamdani (D-NY), another progressive like James Talarico (D-TX) and Graham Platner (D-ME) that pose a threat to the US military-industrial complex, AIPAC, the well-entrenched status quo, phony Christians, and the ruling oligarchs. About the Hegseth's pastor's prayer: "GOOD LORD!!" (not his). What a POS hypocrite!

Jesus Christ directly commanded his followers to pray for their enemies, specifically to "love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which spitefully use you."

The words from this POS's Bible forbid praying for the ill or destruction of enemies.

This is the Fake Christianity that the leader of the Dept of War is trying to instill in Officers and Troops.

Even MAGAs should be ashamed.

It's actually much like what Stalin did to make "Militant Atheism" State Policy.

It has a name, Inverted Totalitarianism, of which the similarities to classical totalitarian regimes include using fear,[6] preemptive wars[7] and elite domination.[8]

I heard this anecdote last century from a survivor of Stalin's brutal and 'atheist' regime.

He was "taught": "If a man throws a rock at you, throw him a piece of bread."

This is strictly anecdotal, of course, but "Christian," isn't it?

Atheists (like myself and others) can be ethically moral without supernatural deities or organized religion; the Venn Diagram of decency is shared by both the pious and the impious, if they are genuinely moral and not hypocrites like faux Christians.

- "If a man throws a rock at you, throw him a piece of bread."

There were apparently somewhere between 15 and 30 million people that were murdered instead of hearing that, but yeah, ethics and morals are not limited to theists or atheists.

Atheists actually make very good Cultural Christians... and many are more likely to intentionally or not be more kind to the actual message of Yeshua than are psychopaths like Whiskey Pete's pastor... or just regular white nationalist theists in general.

And some so-called theists make the very worst kind of so-called Christians.

Does this hurt or help TX Rep Talarico's Senate chances?

imo, this statement seems to be playing right into TX Rep Talarico's hand ...
