NYS Governor Kathy Hochul Takes on ICE

The Empire State's first female governor, Kathy Hochul (D), signed into law a set of sweeping protections for immigrant New Yorkers, including a ban on law enforcement officers wearing masks and a measure barring local police statewide from enforcing civil immigration laws. One law also bars ICE agents from entering so-called "sensitive locations," such as churches, schools, and polling places; another law allows individuals to sue ICE for alleged constitutional violations.

Trump's Border Czar Tom Homan threatened to "flood the zone" with ICE agents if states like New York attempt to limit coordination with federal immigration agencies. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul responded to Homan's remarks, saying, "I don't take well to threats."

NYS Attorney-General Letitia James has hundreds of detectives working in her agency, including the OSI which investigates police officer misconduct.

Incumbent Kathy Hochul (D) has a 15-point lead over right-wing MAGA AIPAC dead-ender Bruce Blakeman (R) in the race for NYS governor.

NYS Governor Kathy Hochul (D) has shown the way forward for the next non-Republican POTUS on 20 Jan 2029:

"By Executive Order, no ICE or DHS agents will wear masks or be armed with firearms. Fully-accredited and lightly-armed Deputy US Marshals (DUSMs) will accompany unarmed ICE and DHS agents when apprehending aliens or migrants. All migrants and aliens will not be immediately deported and will be taken before Immigration Judges (IJ) for due process. These aliens and migrants will not be incarcerated unless they have been clearly proven to be a danger to the community."

"Good-for-nothing Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman (R) didn't ask Gaetano "Guy" Savia, a volunteer sheriff's deputy to resign, after he was arrested for having a loaded handgun in his carry-on bag at JFKIA.

Savia (68) of Bellmore was arrested at JFKIA when a TSA officer spotted a loaded Ruger .380 caliber pistol in his carry-on luggage. The charge involves knowingly and unlawfully possessing a firearm in violation of the terms of a license.

"I know Guy Savia very well and he's a hardworking, good member of our community," the Republican candidate for NYS bleated, sniveling "he's not a criminal."

Translation: "Guy Savia is a privileged racist white altercocker with a gun, so leave him alone and arrest the schwarzers, sp*cs, and hijab-wearers instead. Never mind why this geriatric who can barely see would bring a loaded pistol onto a commercial plane full of unarmed passengers."

Bruce Blakeman is one of the most revolting blighters infesting the Empire State. Sadly, this Islamophobe narrowly eked out his win in 2022 to become Nassau County Executive. This MAGAt refused to lower the flags for POTUS Jimmy Carter when he passed. Just thinking of this creature is simply nauseating.

ICE agents wear masked so they cannot be identified. They same reason why they do not identify themselves.
