It's perfection for South Carolina. The Gamecocks completed an undefeated season with a thrilling 87-75 victory over Caitlin Clark and Iowa in the NCAA championship game on Sunday in Cleveland.

Great game. South Carolina made Iowa take too many low-percentage shots.

It was a great game. Too bad nearly every news and sports outlet came out with something like "Caitlin Clark this, that and the other in her game Sunday" barely mentioning that Iowa lost and nearly no comment about how well the Gamecocks looked. It was as if Clark was at a shoot-around and didn't make all the crazy shots she tried...

should have seen this coming / only it the O / U..

1) Iowa used 6 girl rotation / SC used 9 that were bigger and played tougher.

2) the 2 "bigs" for SC beat up the smaller Iowa girls in the paint.

3) Iowa coach got out coached in the 2nd half when the SC guard on CC held her to relatively nothing

after Clark started out hot as a pistol.

--the better team beat the better player
