"While running for Senate in 2022, Mehmet Oz disclosed owning at least $8.5 million in healthcare stocks. He and his wife also owned up to $550,000 UnitedHealth Group stock and as much as $50,000 in CVS Health, the parent company behind Aetna, a health insurance provider. Both companies would benefit under a scheme to expand private sector plans touted by Oz on the 2022 campaign trail. Oz promoted a "Medicare Advantage for All" plan, which advocated for expanding Medicare Advantage, a private option for coverage approved by Medicare." Source: qz.com
