Connecticut Teens Would Be Shielded from Social Media Algorithms
Children under 18 would be shielded from personalized social media algorithms between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. under legislation approved Wednesday in the state House of Representatives.

I'm of two minds on this bill.
One side of me says that parents should monitor and instruct their children on the proper use of a smartphone.
The other side of me notes that parents seem to be abdicating that responsibility.
So, is a new state law needed to protect the children of Connecticut from Big Tech?
What do other States think?
