Jun 6 2025 Last year, YouTube made its stance clear. If you want to watch videos with YouTube you'll either need to watch ads or pay for Premium. Ad blockers were no longer going to be allowed. For viewers with an ad blocker installed, YouTube would prevent playback until it was turned off, and it was pretty effective at stopping many popular blockers. That hasn't stopped many from trying to get around the restrictions. |
