The NFL Network and RedZone Channel, two of the largest entities in sports not owned by ESPN, are becoming the property of the Beast of Bristol. ESPN is giving the NFL a 10 percent stake in itself for the deal. ESPN is also acquiring Scott Hanson, his octobox and the witching hour.

The day that CTE, brutal brain damage, can be diagnosed in a living person, is the day that football is banned in all High Schools, other than in Texas of course, since they don't care about anything but profits.

Sports coverage, these days, seems to be mostly about keeping the gamblers and "fantasy sports" addicts happy and I have checked out. Too many interruptions for replays and micromanaging it all and it's not about getting the calls all perfect for "the integrity of the sport". It's about millions of bucks not changing hands due to "errors".
Add in all the conference realignment (The Big 12 stretches from AZ to WV now) crap, the unlimited transfers and NIL bs and college sports can suck it, too.
