Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Trump on Wednesday tried to explain the Republican Party's steep election losses this week in part on a failure of language, specifically, a failure to use a "new word." Many blamed the GOP defeat on a mix of Trump's own unpopularity (his approval rating just reached a new low) and consumer frustration at continued inflation. But the president insisted everything is moving in the right direction. The only issue, he said, is that Republicans don't talk about it enough. Anyone who thought a billionaire was going to lower prices is a special kind of stupid.
