She isn't the only GOP Rep doing this. I could suggest three or four reasons for this, but the primary one is that the rank and file now perceive that:
1) The Epstein files talk about that thirteen-year-old girl Trump raped
2) Trump's efforts to fix the 2026 elections won't work, and there will be MAGA blood an inch deep in the streets next November
3) That they want to preserve their future chances for a career, political or otherwise.
4) I wish I could say that these people at last found their souls, but I am afraid that ship sailed.

I guess that I did provide three or four reasons after all. If this Trum/MAGA nightmare is ever finally over, the people of the United States are going to have to take a good and hard look at themselves and decide why it was so damned easy to let their dark side out the way they did. The way the Germans did after World War II.
What Donald Trump is was always so obvious. I don't think that it was simple ignorance that let this man have power. It was something a lot more fetid than that.
But I get ahead of myself. There may still be a Trump Gotterdamerung stage. I hope that we are at least smart enough and good enough to avoid that.

I don't see that happening.

Sorry to be a pessimist, but people capable of self reflection and being able to blame themselves rightly for their own failures...
Don't vote for a demagogue you can see from space 2-3 times.
