Federal Judge Blocks Trump's Efforts to Deport Somalis
The Honorable US District Judge Angel Kelley in Boston granted an emergency request by several South Sudanese nationals and an immigrant rights group to prevent the temporary protected status (TPS) they had been granted from expiring on 5 Jan 2026.

Dummkopf Trumpf's "War on the Somalis" has been temporarily stymied.
"Minnesota has the nation's largest Somali community. Many fled the long civil war in their east African country and were drawn to the state's welcoming social programs.
A report produced for Congress in August put the number of Somalis covered by the TPS program at just 705 nationwide."

Like NYS Attorney-General Letitia James, the Honorable Angel Kelley began her career with the Legal Aid Society in NYC and was appointed a US District Judge by POTUS Joe Biden in 2021.
