"There's also that ~voter fraud~ thing. Which is not anywhere near as wide-spread as Pres Trump asserts."
Before asserting voter fraud, everyone should be required to read The Heritage Foundation's vote fraud website. Even a cursory reading shows a few glaring facts:
--States average roughly one conviction per state, per year.
--The majority of the fraud doesn't come from voters; it comes from Canvassers, Cullers, and Counters.
--When an individual commits vote fraud, it's usually the garden variety: they either had a ballot laying around from a deceased household member, or they recently moved to a new jurisdiction, and either forgot, or purposely forgot, they'd already voted.
There's never been fraud at scale, because fraud at scale can't be concealed. It's also a weak-link operation: the more folks involved, the greater chance of discovery.
In-person fraud is ludicrous, once someone realizes the hoops and the ROI.
And let's not forget the BIG math: if both sides commit fraud equally, no votes are gained or lost. And if one side does it FIFTY PERCENT MORE THAN THE OTHER (a ridiculous suggestion), that still means 100 instances of voter fraud will only net 20 votes.
Final fact: When they give a reason, the most common reason given by the fraudster was I thought the other side was doing it. That's a nod to all the liars: You Built That!
And a Coda: There seems to be A LOT MORE voter fraud among Republicans than Democrats. Just sayin'
