"Dummkopf Trumpf's deranged statements " including one on Easter Sunday " are further entrenching our country and our world in another devastating, never-ending war. He's threatening war crimes that violate US law and the Geneva Convention, on top of illegal actions and atrocities already committed at his direction"including violence that has destroyed schools, hospitals, and critical civilian infrastructure. Republicans must join us in calling on the president to end this suicidal war before it is too late. So much is at stake, and those who continue to follow him blindly will have blood on their hands as well.

"As the daughter of Iranian immigrants who fled this regime, and as an American Congresswoman who swore an oath to the United States Constitution, I know that this cannot go on. The 25th Amendment exists for a reason; his Cabinet should use it. The fate of US troops, the Iranian people, and the very foundation of our global system are at stake."

It's actually gone to another level C, today more than one article is saying we're on the verge of another world war. If someone or some entity doesn't step in and stop this Mad Hatter, we're all in deep -----.

The buck doesn't stop with Pissed Ol' Pete.
He's just another useful idiot. That belongs in Leavenworth.

"While rising empires are often judicious, even rational in their application of armed force for conquest and control of overseas dominions, fading empires are inclined to ill-considered displays of power, dreaming of bold military masterstrokes that would somehow recoup lost prestige and power. Often irrational even from an imperial point of view, these micromilitary operations can yield hemorrhaging expenditures or humiliating defeats that only accelerate the process already under way."

If it isn't going to get a conviction, don't waste everybody's time with a vote.

The charges are stupid, and broad, and I always cringe when I see stuff like this. Be specific. What actions violated his oath of office? Unfortunately, making abysmally stupid decisions isn't a disqualifier. Neither is starting foreign wars for dumb reasons. So he violated the Constitution. What Clause and how did he violate it?

I'm going to give Trump some credit here and suggest some of his decisions are based off of misleading information from Hegseth, if not outright lies, and Hegseth knew it. If I am correct, that is a completely valid reason for impeachment, and would be pretty easy to prove.

Every single partisan impeachment effort since Clinton has been a failure, a stain on the Nation's, and looks terrible for the charging party. I'm sick of it, and I suspect most of the country agree with me. Just because Republicans pioneered lawfare by impeachment, it doesn't mean the Democrats have to do it too.

Impeachment is a safeguard built into the US Constitution and one of the tools available to Congress to check the power of the Executive Branch.

Past impeachment failures shouldn't deter legislators from trying again.

This was only the press release from Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ), not the actual charging document citing the legal reasons.

As a legislator, Ms. Ansari is showing her constituents that she's not taking a junket to Scotland or sitting on her --- while the Trumpf junta is wrecking the country.

As a non-AIPAC Congresswoman, Ms. Ansari will probably be joining "the Squad" soon in public appearances.
