LEOs wear masks all the time, often so they and their loved ones aren't targeted for retaliation (e.g., DEA agents, or undercover cops who don't want to blow their identity when executing a warrant (which means all the other cops executing the warrant have to wear a mask or the undercover cop just identified himself as being an undercover cop)).

Undercover cops aren't the ones who execute warrants. They gather information to build cases. Others do apprehensions.

She's a sheriff with decades of law enforcement experience.

I remember meeting a guy through a friend who was in an "Anti-Crime" unit with the Franklin, TN PD. Four of them rode around, harassing anyone they wanted to, stopping anyone for anything.

During a conversation, he told me he'd formerly been a mafia enforcer in Detroit. That's how I instantly put 2 and 2 together and figured out what his PD unit was all about:

The ICE agent walking towards her window told her "get out of here!"

Which she was attempting to do. Since she had to back up a little to maneuver around the SUV parked in the street to her right, she wouldn't have been been looking straight ahead, would she?

Besides, ICE had no authority to arrest her in the first place. They aren't traffic cops. If they'd stuck to their job of arresting the people in the house next door, none of this would have happened.

She should've just followed orders. But instead, she tried to take an officer's life using her vehicle. I don't know what was going through her mind at the time but ... .. oh wait

She WAS following orders.

The cop who ran up to her window said, "get out of here!" She was in the process of doing just that.

BTW, the agent who approached her window was yelling for her to move her car, which she was. Then she got killed for obeying his commands.
