The more America rejects Trump, the more likely voters will reject enough GOP/MAGA sycophants in Congress (who publicly refuse to stand up to him) for Dems to regain a majority and help America weather the next two years.

For example, in 2006, amid disgust over the Iraq War, Congress flipped and stymied the worst instincts within the Bush Administration.

Because Republicans only care about debt and deficits when a Democrat is in the White House.

When Obama took office, congressional Republicans were screaming about debt and deficits they themselves were responsible for thanks to 2 tax cuts for the wealthy/corps and doubling the budget ... all by themselves.

That sums up his DC makeover ambitions in a nutshell.

Trump can't help adding reasons for more and more Americans to continue turning against him. In my opinion, there isn't much he can really do to stop a tsunami of a blue wave. He can't stop it even with ICE or the NG. He continues to add reasons to lose support. He'll have to share the spotlight with congressional committees investigating his misdeeds, Iran, insider trading, nefarious nepotism, profiteering, and so much more.

I have a prediction:

In 2006, there were lines of dozens of people standing in the pouring rain at my precinct, and a nationwide record turnout of voters eager to give George Bush a baby sitter. Congress flipped decisively, primarily to protest his FUBAR Iraq war.

Trump? If we start with Iran and keep adding the many other reasons a considerable majority of Americans strongly disapprove of Trump. I predict voting will break records in protest of Trump and Trumpism, and January will be the beginning of the end of Trump and MAGA His many misdeeds will be the subject of many investigations - from Epstein to Iran, profiteering, etc etc - that'll blanket the news until he's gone. A far more diminished lame duck than Bush.
