Without funding and political backing he doesn't control, that promise isn't his to deliver.

My hope for 2026 is that the "truth" will be exposed to us all and we will be opened minded to receive it.

Americans have been getting "manipulated" since the invention of radio, and then television, back when it was selling detergent and everything else.

They don't just sell products. They sell ideas and beliefs that make people buy into those products and services.

I've had AI write before. It's surprisingly good.

But there are some givens such as Trump's executive orders would not have happened and we can pretty well assume the border would not have been shut down.

In fact Biden was wanting the funds to build more processing centers for those arriving and he anticipated the numbers increasing so needed more centers.

AI is still free to write at will if you instruct it as so.

AI is fascinating to someone like me who started repairing IBM PC's in the 80's and has watched the gradual evolution of computers with a strong interest. When I got my BS in Accounting, I also got a minor in Computer Science. I've always loved computers and watching them change.

AI seems so lifelike but it is wrong at times (just like humans I guess). I screenshot a Chinese sign once and uploaded it to AI. It could read that. In another 10-20 years it likely will be a threat to the human race if we aren't designing checks and balances into it so that humans remain in control.

Because convenience is not unlimited. At some point, the risk to election integrity outweighs the marginal benefit of added convenience.

There is also a practical reality. Beyond a certain threshold, the number of voters who truly cannot vote in person is relatively small.

Those voters might already qualify for absentee mail-in ballots. Again, these absentee ballots would likely not be a large enough group to impact the election results negatively.

"Inconvenience" alone is not a sufficient justification for universally expanding voting methods indefinitely.
