She knows she is, as does everyone else.

But some trans-women do feel they need confirmation, otherwise they would just be who they are and disregard who does or doesn't use their pronoun.

Furthermore, the conversation is getting off track because some people are confusing drag queens with transgender.

They don't understand that transgender is a life style change. Not just a costume change.

I'll say it again...real transgender will rue the day gays picked up their cause. It should have been left well enough alone. Now it will go to court and anyone will male parts will eventually get banned from women's private facilities.

I think that's a more recent radical concept that was tried for awhile but is failing to take hold in society.

I have always said gay couples desperately need protection for their relationships.

Civil Unions sounded like a good idea from other states that had that.

The word "marriage" sounded like it would lead to law suits involving churches some day. It still might.

My personal opinion on the religious aspect of same-sex marriages is simply personal and doesn't need to be brought into it.

Gays have been lying about being gay for...well...a long time. It's only been very recent it doesn't get you killed or beat up.

Your right to exist has never been questioned.

By all means...if you prefer living as a woman...fine.....

But you can't demand society or the law to force others to modify their lifestyles to accommodate it.

That was the problem. It's always been the main issue with trans and the reason I see trans as separate from general "gay rights"

Gays aren't expecting anyone to give up anything. Gays don't require others to change to make room for them.

Trans are making unreasonable exorbitant demands on society and individuals to change to suit their lifestyle.

I've said more than once religion and government (law) don't always mesh.

Some people seem to think they should if it suits your need to use one to support or defend the other.

As a Christian, I believe it's wrong like I also believe abortion is wrong.

However, on a practical level, I disagreed with overturning Rowe V Wade.

And, again on a practical level, I'm not opposed to the idea of assisted suicide.

But I also understand the father who wasn't ready to lose his daughter.
