The Democratic Party just won't be able to help itself and will end up with an AIPAC-funded Presidential ticket. Most progressives and antiwar samaritans will again stay home (like 1968 and 2024), while some will migrate to the Green Party. The GOP will lose some, but not all of their Latino base. So, here's what the results will look like on 7 Nov 2028:

GOP: JD Vance/Nikki Haley 72,802,580 popular votes; 293 Electoral College votes.
Dems: Gavin Newsom/Joshua David Shapiro 69,017,136 popular votes; 245 Electoral College votes.
Green Party: Jill Stein/Cornel Ronald West 1,862,049 popular votes; 0 Electoral College votes.

I hope I'm wrong about the DNC in 2026 and 2028....

#6: Hang in there as best as you can, Laura, Dotard Trumpf is exhausting and demoralizing many of us-- you're not alone. The USSS can't protect Trumpf from a lightning strike or a swarm of 'murder hornets' attacking him while he is golfing. The Dotard wants to annex other countries, like Panama, Canada, or Greenland, and has alienated allies and trade partners. The US has deteriorated into a Pariah AND Rogue State, like Israel, Russia, and once apartheid Suid-Afrika-- untrustworthy, cruel, and despotic.

What an understatement.

My dad has a small window AC unit like this which I'll be checking. My wife and I have central AC in our building, so our concern is that the contractors flush out the system to prevent Legionella bacteria from growing in the ducts. The summer will be hot for many of us and we will need our AC.
