It's too early to declare a constitutional crisis, and debating the label we attach to any new event can distract us from focusing on the event itself. But each day brings us fresh evidence of a deeply troubling trend: America is no longer a stable country, and it is growing less stable by the day.

"It's hard to avoid the conclusion that the Trump administration is spoiling for a fight on America's streets"

Donald Trump is a vicious man, a delusional man, and a man who wants to be dictator.

Violence towards our citizenry on some large scale always had to be part his this witch's brew.

Time to start imagining the self-righteous, self-glorifying speech Donald makes on national TV when he invokes martial law after the first several dozen Americans are shot dead by their own military in their own streets.

America is no longer a stable country is the understatement of the 21st century.

The impeccable US credit rating was recently lowered, Americans (and foreign visitors) suffer appalling levels of violence on our streets, diseases are spreading, food and aviation safety have been undermined, and the POTUS is a deranged dotard who has been excommunicating undesirables to Fourth World locations to their demises. The leader of the US cozies up to TWO indicted war criminals who are committing unspeakable crimes of war and inhumanity while threatening the citizens of his own country. The Dotard wants to annex other countries, like Panama, Canada, or Greenland, and has alienated allies and trade partners. The US has deteriorated into a Pariah AND Rogue State, like Israel, Russia, and once apartheid Suid-Afrika-- untrustworthy, cruel, and despotic.

What an understatement.

The USA is no longer "America" by any traditional or historical sense of that once great word. Trump has turned us into an autharitarian shithole. At this point, I honestly would prefer to live in any Western Europe, Oceania, South American or Asian democracy. The only reason I stay here for now is because I know from long experience that this too shall pass.
