The US placed last among high-income Western countries in reducing chronic disease death risks. While other countries saw a notable decrease in deaths due to chronic diseases between 2010 and 2019, the number actually increased for Americans between the ages of 20 to 45. Researchers called this statistic a "rare phenomenon in high-income Western countries." Germany ranked closely with the US indicating similar challenges in addressing chronic disease deaths. Denmark topped the list with the largest decline in chronic disease deaths among the countries studied, demonstrating the most successful approach to reducing these preventable deaths. The research highlights a concerning trend for American public health, as chronic diseases typically become more manageable and preventable as countries develop better healthcare systems and preventive care programs. read more

A cloud of toxic smoke from two pounds of methamphetamine seized by the FBI and incinerated inside the nonprofit Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter in Montana sent fourteen volunteers to the hospital. The smoke started to fill the building during a drug burn apparently because of negative pressure that sucked the fumes back inside. A fan was supposed to be on hand in such situations to reverse the pressure so smoke would flow out of the building, but it wasn't readily available. The shelter's 75 dogs and cats were relocated or put into foster homes. Most of the staff spent several hours in an oxygen chamber for treatment and symptoms lingered for other workers. Four litters of poor kittens caged in a closed room were more heavily exposed to the toxic fumes and are being closely monitored. read more

Canada PM Mark Carney unveiled an array of national projects to turbocharge' the economy as it fends off a trade war with the US. A liquefied natural gas facility, critical mineral mines, a nuclear reactor, and port expansion marks the first wave of major national projects. An expansion of LNG Canada's Kitimat facility on the Pacific coast, which will in effect double the plant's annual export capacity to 28m tons, is among the biggest supported by the Liberal government, which has pledged to invest heavily in -- and speed -- up permits for projects deemed in the national interest. "The path ahead will not always be easy, because what's happening now in the global economy is not a transition -- it is a rupture," said Carney. "The US is fundamentally and rapidly transforming all of its trading relationships, and the effects are both immediate and profound." read more

  • HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr blamed America's mass shootings on video games, use of psychiatric drugs, and social media, ignoring the staggering amount of legal and illegal firearms in the US. In 2025, America suffered 353 mass shootings and every eleven minutes someone in the US is killed with a firearm, whether there was an assailant involved or if it was a suicide.
  • HHS employees were directed to start using ChatGPT AI. HHS plans to roll out AI through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to determine whether patients are eligible to receive certain treatments. These types of systems have been shown to be biased, resulting in fewer patients getting the care they need. In essence, the use of AI will be a triaging death panel for many suffering patients while enriching the contractors who will be rewarded for the money they save Medicaid and Medicare. read more

Trouble for the EU next year.

The death toll in the Gaza Strip is now 64,803 Palestinians, the majority of whom are children and women; 164,264 others have been maimed or wounded. The body count is steadily creeping up to 70,000. By contrast, during the decades-long Vietnam War, the US military suffered 58,281 servicemembers KIA. In nearly two years, the IDF has killed more Palestinians than the NVA and Vietcong killed our young men and women between 1955 and 1975. Sidenote: 20,000 Canadians enlisted to fight alongside their American comrades in SE Asia; at least 134 were KIA.

The drone strike did not deter the food aid flotilla, so Samaritan Greta Thunberg is enroute to Gaza to help the Palestinians, further flummoxing the detestable ICC-indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu.

AIPAC-funded Democrats from NYS still refuse to endorse Zohran Mamdani (33). Nevertheless, Dummkopf Trumpf predicted Zohran would prevail in NYC's mayoral race, whining that the amiable legislator represents a "rebellion." Perhaps the venal Eric Adams didn't take the bait offered by the Trumpf junta.

In a one-on-one race, the popular Zohran Mamdani holds a 48% to 44% lead over Democratic Party turncoat Andrew Cuomo. This Judas Iscariot dissembled data during the COVID pandemic and sexually harassed women. The revolting Andrew Cuomo was not indicted for any of his blasphemies but was forced to resign his governorship and surrender his Emmy Award. Andrew Cuomo continues fouling the air in the Big Apple with his mercenary attempt at trying to beat Zohran Mamdani on behalf of AIPAC and superrich landlords like Dummkopf Trumpf and Steve Witless.

The crop circle phenomenon was apparently ignited by a 1974 film about super-intelligent ants. The movie was inspired by an HG Wells short story "Empire of the Ants." In Phase IV, now a cult classic, the ants have no way to communicate with humans, so they demonstrate their intellect by drawing perfect geometric shapes: as2.ftcdn.net

After the movie debuted, farmers began creating crop circles. They began out-doing each other whenever the newspapers showed photos of an elaborate pattern in Kansas or Australia. Conspiracy theorists jumped on this as proof of aliens visiting the Earth, but the intent of the hoax was to show super-intelligent ants (or other insects) on their farms (like in Phase IV): m.media-amazon.com
