But telling 75-80% of the voting public that they wouldn't have been considered for the position based on the color of their skin or what they have dangling between their legs isn't the best method of winning people over. Affirmative action isn't a huge plus when running for office.

By allowing the CR, Trump gets a huge chunk of what he is working towards, including making Obamacare unaffordable.
