I inspected the reflecting pool this morning at 0600. A beautiful morning with lots of 19 year old National Guard members standing about. All replied to my greetings. I saw some ducks swimming in the water. I noted two big filters operating. The water was mostly clear. The bottom liner looked like it was decades old, faded and splotchy. A newslady was doing a standup on the east side, with the Lincoln memorial in the distance. Very pleasant.
