The money should go into the U. S. sovereign investment fund, which could then invested in ventures such as "Truth Social" , Tesla, and to prop up $TRUMP coins. A certain percentage should go to Donald Trump for liscencing his name and imiage.

I disagree, I believe that Donald does care if people suffer. That is the primary source of his pleasure.

Afew years back the California legislators did much the same, checking into the parking lot then leaving. IIRC they were in an extended session and could collect their per diem that way. Made the news, but nothing else happened.
