The Dems job is to cave, come up one vote short, get blocked by the parliamentarian, mired in committee, etc ...

It's why large Corps, billionaires & foreign countries fund them.

If they didn't cave, lose, come up short the Corps/billionaires wouldn't give them a dime.

Democrats couldn't keep the government shut down forever. Fact is THEY were responsible for this one.

Considering 8 democrats joined Republicans to vote for their legislation, without getting any concessions, without safeguarding healthcare for poor people, it does seem like the shutdown was the democrat's fault.

Trump can ride this all the way to the midterms.

Democrats didn't do anything but prove they're not serious about fighting for Americans.

Considering democrats didn't gain anything from the government shutdown, especially their main goal - extending subsidies on ACA, and republicans didn't have to make any concessions in order to get corporate democrats to vote with them.

One has to wonder why democrats didn't simply agree to Republicans demands in the first place and avoided the shutdown altogether.

Face it. Democrats are weak. They capitulated and they always will capitulate.

This is why there's a revolution happening within the party.

Democrats did exceedingly well last week.

Because for a brief moment, it looked like democrats were fighting for working class Americans.

Then they caved and screwed over the people they were supposed to be fighting for.

What gives that church the right to deny the homosexual couple their religious beliefs?

Religious freedom means I can teach the faith to anyone willing to listen.

By the same token, religious freedom means if a homosexual couple was raised Christian and wants to be wed by their religious beliefs, they are free to do so and no one can prevent them from doing so.
