I think he's a great songwriter and creative musician over a long period of time. In my early teens it was all CSNY. He's also a huge proponent of autism education.

I remember first coming on the Retort around 2007/8 and reading Boaz saying he'd just heard of the US Virgin Islands and wished he could go there (or something along those lines).
