They are all cutting jobs to increase profitability. Question in my mind is what happens when a labor strike happens or a cyberattack takes out the computer/AI end of it all? Usually during a labor strike, the management steps up to hold things down and keep stuff running. Without the management there, which are one group being focused on firing, how long will they be able to keep the doors open during such an event? I doubt it will be possible as this trend progresses.
