I did a good bit of reading on all of this when it first came out, and was appalled but not surprised...there is, or at least it was said that there was, a test to see if one were a good candidate to work for the CIA, and it involved not having a shred of human compassion for strangers, and it involved accepting male supremacy. Tall, blond, ken dolls...for a bit, were the ideal.
