Well, we can be sure of one thing, the person most happy about how well Trump is doing as a Russian asset...has to be Putin. Weakening NATO has to be high on his list.

Fascism 101...create an image of those who you want to invade and kill...and make that image of dirty, animalistic deadly creatures, instead of human beings trying to survive the day.

I graduated high school in 1964, along with a lot of males who had a draft obligation...and ended up, one way or another in the Vietnam War. Make no mistake about it, that war was a betrayal of the service people, Nixon and Kissinger, behind the scenes, made sure the 1968 peace talks were killed, so they could get elected to the White House..true story.
And it was many years before peace was possible, and many people I knew were killed or wounded.
Once again we attack and kill Iranians to try and steal their oil.

So stealing the election is more important than running the country...just another normal day for the Trump gang.

Again, murder is murder, and wars of aggression are illegal, not that anyone will even hold the US to those standards, and Netanyahu never has to worry being hauled to The Hague thanks to his being able to spur Trump into joining an attack against Iran.

I am now old and very cynical...my parents' generation, the WWII folks, worked hard, and could often afford to buy a small house on one salary. But the leap in home prices has meant that those of us on the bottom third of the economic pyramid just could never save enough to afford housing, and in practical terms, I don't see this legislation doing much of anything. Hope I am wrong.

We are not Russia yet, though Trump and his gang are working mightily to get us there...where the media is jailed or killed for opposing Putin. In Navalny's case, he was jailed and then killed.

It was decided by the Supreme Court, you are free to burn a flag, it is freedom of speech. There is this thing called a Constitution that actually unites us, no wonder the Trump conspiracy hates it so much.

More and more it is obvious that Trump's main job is to ruin America, divide us one from another and from our international allies.

Their crazy is going to get a lot of we seniors dead. We oldsters were dying rapidly due to Covid, until the vaccines came out. And as a kid I remember the polio nightmare. Kennedy is so idiotic he has to be in his job to screw with America on orders from Putin to Trump. Sure feels like Trump is ruining everything about America.

Imagine if the rule of law still existed in international matters...Israel and America attacking Iran and killing many of its leaders would have been seen immediately as a war crime, and warrants would have gone out for Netanyahu and Trump. But since America was persuaded to ally with Israel, and the world cannot hold America to the rule of law, Iran is being turned into GAZA.

Ah yes, the march of the "unawake" in Florida and Texas. America has moved on, women are equal to men, gay people exist as equal to straights...and in about twenty years we whites will be in the minority in America...might as well get used to that fact.

Oh sure, women want to return to the greatness of the early 1950's, when men ruled the roost and women were very much second class citizens, pretty much baby machines and cooks and cleaners...
This earth cannot "carry" the number of humans on it as it is...

I bet James Mattis and John Kelly have stories to tell...hope one or both of them write memoirs of Trump's first term. Hope we survive his second term.

Trump has proven that the Civil War hates have not left us, we are, at times, led by a majority of racist misogynists who really want the US to return to the early 1950's, when women were second class citizens and the rich were gods.

Well, you elect mean and stupid and greedy, you get a true fascist who is about grift, morning noon and night. This happened in the Old Soviet Union as it fell as well, leadership by senility.

Never have I been so discouraged as to the future of America...It isn't just Trump but the entire MAGA movement that clearly has no concept of the rule of law and its importance to world peace.

Talk about 1968 Vietnam War Deja Vu.. We did exactly the same things, there and then, that we are doing now. We controlled the skies and the seas and won every battle...but we were on the wrong side.

American fascism on the march and in almost all the offices of our national government. Fascism is not a friend of Constitutional freedoms...like freedom of speech and assembly and all. Will America survive this assault? Russian democracy fell to dictatorial fascism, and it is clear authoritarianism is on the agenda for the Trump gang.

The truth seems to be important to a few of us, but as far as the grifting Trump gang...a lie is as good as a truth any day if it lets them gain a vote.

Glad I am old, and won't be around to see what a nightmare America will have to survive when Trump finally bankrupts us the way the Soviet Empire got bankrupted, with idiot foreign wars and internally the oligarchs looting the treasury and leaving things in such a state that war veterans and pensioners begged on street corners.

Is there any part of the American government Trump hasn't screwed up? Certainly one of the truest things anyone ever said about Trump is that he is, "objectively, a Russian asset".
