America deliberately had porous borders after the Bracero Program was abolished...and those folks who lived and worked in the US for decades need a path to citizenship, and of course, the American people expect and deserve strong borders.

I am an old man living in low income senior and disabled HUD financed housing...and if one listed one's saving and safety net according to how long their savings would keep them alive and off street corners begging for food...poverty, the bottom of the economic pyramid is as prevalent here in the US as it is in many other countries, but in other countries there are low cost ways to live, in American cities...rents have gone insane. And one wonders if when push comes to shove, SS will actually be propped up or allowed to fall by a third or so, in less than ten years.

Imagine if it were law that women had to make up at least half of the people serving in Congress...or the Executive Branch, so if a man is elected to the Senate, next election a woman has to be voted in.
As it is, there is widespread discrimination against women, because so few serve as lawmakers. Goodness knows I believe our country would be far, far better off if such laws were enacted.

School, for many of us, was just such a home although we as kids didn't realize that any recognition or attention came at school, and home was to be endured. Trump is running out of qualified goons, he now is dipping into the bottom of the barrel. When Vance, a lawyer, is elevated to the Supreme Court, in either Thomas' seat or Alitio's, one has to wonder if Rubio will be soon leading things. No such thing as a good Republican in this time of Trump...though soon they will have a chance to prove me wrong.

Actually, I think when Alito steps down, Vance will be offered his seat first, so that the sold out soul Rubio can be first VP, then President when Trump retires, and then Rubio, like to obedient tool that he is, will pardon Trump and the entire grifting influence peddling clan.
