So, until I see some hard data to the contrary, I will stay with my current opinion that CBS kissed Pres Trump's most ample derriere to get approval for the merger.

John Cougar was the warm-up act in the New Haven Coliseum ((late 1970's, before he became ~known~).

My friend and I went to attend a Heart show.

Well, Mr Mellancamp, in his opening act, blew the doors off the place.

Heart, (and I did have, and continue to have, great respect for their talent) saw his performance and, I guess, figured they need to top it.

So, they turned up the volume. A lot.

My friend and I were happy that I brought ear plugs for us to reduce the volume, so we could enjoy the rest of the concert.

Might have CBS had a beef with the host of the show? Well, yeah. And, imo, that seems to be the cause behind this move.

So I will ask once again, what is CBS planning to put into that time slot that may draw higher viewer ratings?
