The U.S. government posted a surplus in June as tariffs gave an extra bump to a sharp increase in receipts, the Treasury Department said Friday. With government red ink swelling throughout the year, last month saw a surplus of just over $27 billion, following a $316 billion deficit in May. That brought the fiscal year-to-date deficit to $1.34 trillion, up 5% from a year ago. However, with calendar adjustment, the deficit actually edged lower by 1%. There are three months left in the current fiscal year, which ends Sept. 30. A 13% increase in receipts from the same month a year ago helped bridge the gap, with outlays down 7%. For the year, receipts are up 7% while spending has risen 6%. read more

"Only a racist could say 1.5M job growth is better than 2M job growth."

Here are the numbers for ------- Biden:

Foreign Born workers (fred.stlouisfed.org)
27,693,000: Trump peak pre-covid
31,774,000: Jan'2025
4,081,000 net gains under Biden

Native Born workers (fred.stlouisfed.org)
131,721,000: Trump peak pre-covid
130,573,000: Jan'2025
-1,148,000 net loss under Biden

Under Biden, he burned over 1M native born worker jobs but imported 10M illegals and grew their employment by over 4M. If you want to know why your unskilled minimum wage jobs didn't give you a raise - this is why. Now, in your case, the Guatemalan with a 5th grade education is probably smarter (and definitely harder working) than you. So, him getting the job and raise over you was probably justified.

As an AMERICAN, I prioritize giving jobs to AMERICANS that are already living here - not importing a permanent underclass to make life harder for those AMERICANS that already live here.

Wage Gains (as reported by the BLS) - Inflation (as reported by the BLS) with the story already posted on this very website. drudge.com

Now only that, YOU commented in that very thread 20 times.

No one has the amount of time to repeatedly prove points that have ALREADY BEEN PROVEN - you, along with -------- like lamplighter appear to either be:

1.) Mentally retarded and thus incapable of understanding basic data/analysis
2.) Lacking a memory that extends for more than 1 hour into the past

I leave it to you to clarify for the class which is true in your case. Personally, I think it is probably #1. I think you probably huffed spray paint as a kid and cooked your brain.
