They can take out the desalination plants that places like Saudi Arabia get 80% of their water from. No water, no workers, no oil. 3-5 years to rebuild minimum.

They can keep the straight closed like they have.

They can keep hitting Tel Aviv at will and their missiles are getting through now.

If they did these things or just a combination of a few: Oil prices would shoot up to $200 a barrel and the US would hit a major depression.

Bombing bridges and power plants wouldn't stop ANY of this.

So the negotiation will be a nightmare and they will be in a MUCH better position than before the war. We're looking at likely the Strait requiring a toll.

But it's still WAY better than going through with the actual attack. The reprecussions from Iran are terrifying. Oil hitting $200 a barrel would have caused a global recession, possibly depression.

WHY does Iran have to open the Strait for a Ceasefire if:
1. We already won the war.
2. We wiped out their Navy, Air Force, Defences, Mine Layers, and we control the air.
3. We can simply escort ships through the Strait.

Oh...because all these things are Trump lies.

And now the Strait is PARTIALLY open with Iranians deciding who goes through AND they have time to resupply internally/with Russia.

IRAN can SHUT DOWN the Middle East anytime it wants. Take out a few desalination plants and no more water. Half these countries get 70-80% of their water from these plants. No more oil for 3-5 years. Take out some oil refineries, no more oil for 2-4 years. Iran can shut down the Strait of Hormuz again, no more oil or fertilizer. 20% of BOTH come through that Strait.
