President Donald Trump issued a disturbing message on social media Tuesday to the people of Iran, warning them that their civilization will likely "never be brought back again" as his Tuesday night deadline for Tehran looms.

Now that the Secretary of War Crimes has fired anyone at the top of the chain of command who dared to disagree with him what kind of atrocities will the US military commit in our names today? Will any individuals have the human decency to stand up and reject illegal orders? (I really hope so.)

So, what does this madman have in mind?

Carpet bombing by B-52s?

A tactical nuke here and there?

There's no way this kind of rhetoric can be justified.

It's not only irresponsible, it's also foolish. I predict years of blowback, including terrorism from those sympathetic to Iran and punitive actions by nations we once considered allies.

I was looking at a picture of the bridge recently bombed in Iran.

It is interesting that the bridge was hit in 3 places.

Each end of the bridge and the very middle.

What was left alone was all the concrete columns that support the bridge. I am quite certain that was a precision strike.

It was decided to not totally destroy the bridge but just take it out of commission.

Just throwing that out there.

For some reason I thought it was interesting.

Or is he deliberately giving them repeated chances to back down before things escalate further?

This doesn't look like hesitation to me. It looks like applied pressure.

The problem is clerics whose authority depends on never backing down, regardless of who pays the price.

Or perhaps two civilizations. The entire notion of what America was, is, and could've been will likely be destroyed tonight. And the Iranians will be proven 100% right when they repeatedly identified America as "the Great Satan"
