Thereby publicly exonerating himself from any pre-knowledge of the injustice or blame.

They don't give a damn because Trump doesn't expect there to be a normal democratic election in 2028. Much in the same way Mr. Putin holds into power in Russia . . . something Trump has oft said he admires.

We all know that Trump doesn't have the class to admit a mistake. That would be like saying he was wrong about something and, in his opinion, HE IS NEVER WRONG.

And then Trump suspended the 15-year DOJ veteran attorney, (for not following orders from the Attorney General), who, when he was backed into a corner by the judge, admitted that Mr. Garcia had been deported in error.

Not following orders? From the Attorney General?

It's unfortunate that the attorneys in Trump's DOJ are expected to ignore that they are, first and foremost, Officers of the Court.

An act of courage? Or was it to save himself?

I ask because I find it hard to forget the four years Pence spent being Trump's background bobblehead, standing there like a Spinx when he knew Trump had intentions to set America up for the kill.

Real courage would have been to resign as Vice President long before January 6 and start exposing Trump for the lying fake that he was then . . . and continues to be now.

The groundwork for the cover story has already been prepared.

Someone (quoting Musk) said earlier that he might be retiring from politics, perhaps sometime in May, because his businesses (Tesla) are failing without his leadership, charisma and charm.

Take it for what it's worth.

Truth is, Trump is losing a lot of court cases because Musk overplayed both their hands. Also, Trump may have discovered that tariffs are an easier way to claim that he's made up enough money with tariffs to justify extending the $4.5 Billion tax break he promised to his wealthy supporters.

When is someone finally going to call Trump insane.

He's been ranked among the walking wounded for years and worse now that he's in his dotage. What's it going to take to call a spade a spade.

I hope the voters in Miami have learned (and have yet to learn more) that any candidate supported by Trump (Randy Fine) is a MAGA --------- who has agreed up front to support Trump's and the GOP mission to destroy American democracy and the judicial system of checks and balances along with every civil right they have in this country.

I hope they can look past the millions of dollars Elon Muck vowed to contribute to candidates like Randy Fine whose vote Republicans can count on to keep Speaker Johnson (another Trump cohort) in office.

VOTE Democrat JOSH WEIL and help Democrats drain the swamp that Trump has created.

I fully expect this type of goonish incompetence to permeate the entire Trump administration for the duration. Mainly because Trump himself is no better.

The buck stops with Trump. He picked these slap-happy losers.

The only purpose for a group chat (to begin with) was a group hug. Why else would it be necessary for so many details when a simple "Mission accomplished" would suffice?

Left to the imagination, I posit that about 99.999999% of suspicion of nefarious reasons would be correct.

Trump's plots to destroy all semblance of a Constitutional Democracy, plank by plank, is hardly a secret any more.

I assume Speaker Johnson didn't get the message from Chief Justice Roberts about messing with the judiciary. . . (the short version) "Tread softly!"

You'd think by now that drivers of a Tesla would be aware of the danger they're in.

It's like an admission that they support the destruction of America.

They should expect consequences.

Under normal circumstances and with a President who respected the Constitution to which he swore an oath, you'd be right.

However, at the speed Trump is going, I fully expect our Constitutional Republic to be in tatters long before 2028.

Or something along the lines of what Grover Norquist is famous for saying: "My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub."

By the way, JPW, when did Trump ever shy away from creating drama and strife.

It isn't about what Musk is doing NOW. It's about 2028 and Trump's chosen successor. Another "strongman," so to speak, to continue to carry out the GOP mission.
