Though the company previously declared that there were over a million Cybertruck pre-orders, Tesla can't find buyers for the current backlog of nearly 2,400 Cybertrucks, or about $200 million worth of inventory. Not only that, but Tesla is allegedly refusing to accept its own Cybertrucks as trade-ins ...

Musk is sitting on aroun $200M of unsold cybertrucks. The manufacturing isssues with them mean some owners are forcing Tesla to buy them back under Lemon Laws. And Tesla itself wont accept Cybertrucks as tradein for a Tesla car. www.jalopnik.com/1829010/tesl ... [image or embed]

Cybertruck just needs a renaming due to customer confusion. GarbageTruck seems more apt.

The biggest flop in automotive history.

Kind of puts the nail in the coffin of the myth of Elmo's genius.

I'll bet the focus group that green-lit this clown car was a real nerd fest full of 30 year old virgins and Gandalf tattoos.

Gandalf is too Woke.

More likely, Sons of Odin tattoos.

There's a mall here with a large amount of empty parking space that's just full of Teslas sitting there.

I've never counted them but it's easily several dozen (about a hundred maybe?) and the number always seems to get bigger every time I see it.

That's too bad. What a shame. "Sniff, sniff. Honey, pass me a Kleenex, would you please? Thanks."

How embarrassing for the Musk-Trump family. It's a mystery why the public has shied away from the Cybertruck, a terrible product produced and promoted by traitorous, soulless whores actively working to destroy democracy.

If you've ever seen one in person, you know why. Good lord.

Let's just admit it, we are being led by greedy, con men who will keep on with the pump and dump stock market manipulations until they are driven from office.
And let's admit it, global warming is so far along, many will die in a few years in our own desert southwest...it is just too late to do anything.
Doesn't matter if they find a way to make an attractive cyber truck, it will always be too expensive to make a difference.
Take from the poor and give to the rich...just how the Republican Party operates, has operated, will always operate.

Anyone notice the license plate on the nazi mobile in the photo? Nazi code words.

The only people buying this thing are nazis with money. And there aren't many of those.

Interesting observation. Fits with the middle finger salute from the driver.

The public? You really think yall are the only American public. ROTFLMAO. Tesla was/is a liberal thing. No conservatives were buying any teslas.

The only people buying this thing are nazis with money.

LOL. So liberals are nazi's???? LOL. Yes, we already knew that. Hilarious how you are trying to pin this on conservatives when liberals/progressives were the only ones buying electric vehicles.

So why was Lewzer selling them from the back yard of the White House? Why did he buy one himself with your money?

"Tesla was/is a liberal thing. No conservatives were buying any teslas."

Don't be a --------.

Anyone who likes a fast car can like a Tesla. For a lot of purchases that's as much a reason as saving money on gas.

A Tesla Model S io expensive that compared to a Camry you'll never save money on gas.

Tech bros love Tesla and big trucks too.

In related news, Elon Musk declared DOGE cuts "saving" only $150 billion to be some sort of major victory.

$150 billion is a pittance compared to the $2 trillion he once promised to cut.

DOGE has fired thousands of federal employees, "many of them veterans," in a cruel and haphazard way that will make it harder for Americans to get their Social Security benefits. The illegal firings will also negatively impact the accuracy of weather reporting, medical research, and disease mitigation. Worse, thousands of children in developing nations will die, after Musk helped lead the effort to cut foreign aid and gut the U.S. Agency for International Development.

And experts say that the DOGE-related cuts at the Internal Revenue Service will actually explode the national debt even more, as there will be fewer staff working to find wealthy tax cheats.

"Musk DOGE savings promises: $2 trillion -> $1 trillion -> $150 billion," Jessica Riedl, an economist at the conservative Manhattan Institute, wrote in a post on X. "Final spending savings will likely come in well below $150 billion, and the lost tax revenue from IRS layoffs will likely push DOGE into worsening budget deficits. This was never about fixing the budget."

I see the same two cybertrucks in the JCC parking lot every day when I drive by. In my opinion, they're just downright fugly.

Sort of like the true nature of the man who put them on the market.

I saw one on the back of a flatbed once, exiting I-95 in Miami. It appeared to have some bullet holes in it. Does that count?

"but 17 seems to be okay?"

You have Aged Out to be one of those Formerly Knowledgeable People, who has succumbed to the Myth Of Non-Violence in your lust for an Orderly Society.

You believe the lie that the only legitimate means to effect change in society is through peaceful protest, working through the proper channels, with all the proper permits issued by the very State they are protesting.

Wait till you find out what your heroes the Founding Fathers blew up!

Setting on fire a vehicle that's not going to sell just creates an insurance claim, instead of lost value to the company. Does them a favor.

EVs were never going to fill the role that the Biden Admin packaged up and sold to America. I would never have bought one, and sure as hell wouldn't take one on a trade. Pretty sure they are a contender for trade about the time it's due for a battery replacement.

The government shouldnt be making policies on brainwashed moron cult members like you.

You'd never buy an EV because youve been brainwashed by billionaires to think trashing the planet makes you a real man, and people who care about the future are gay.

Many vehicles survive a timing belt break without a bent valve.

If it didn't, it's probably German.

Buying an EV for cost benefits is a False Economy fallacy. You buy it for the prestige of owning an EV.
