BTW, this week, a guy here in Nashville was on a two lane highway on the way to take his dog swimming.

A pickup was tailgating him, anxious to pass or whatever.

When they guy and his dog were stopped in a left turn lane at a light on the two lane highway, the driver of the pickup pulled next to him, fired two shots into his car, and killed his dog.

This random gun violence ---- has to stop. None of us are safe. Not even traveling down an interstate.

Republicans will send meaningless "thoughts and prayers" and say "nothing can be done" as they whine about 2nd Amendment.

It was reported the kid was given an AR-15 as a "holiday gift" last year.

If that report is accurate, the father should spend the rest of his life in prison after last year's FBI/Local Police warning about the kid's fascination with Columbine and his online threats to commit a school shooting.

Everything began going south in the 80's. Yes, inflation was high under Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter, but most people earned a living wage and could afford to buy a home. Then, a massive transfer of wealth to the top began, wages began to slip or barely keep up with inflation, corporate greed spread like a virus driven by Wall Street, and little by little we find ourselves here.

DeSantis was going to secretly ram it through by holding all the public hearings about the development at the same time on the same day to avoid public scrutiny and comments. Next, they'd proceed to rubber stamp approval and hand out contracts to a secret list of their favored developers to eliminate a public bidding process.

The whole thing stinks. As swampy as it gets ...

I once stayed in the same hotel in Huntington Beach as a rugby team from Wales who were playing in a tournament.

They drank the bar dry of beer and liquor every night (I'm not kidding), went to bed completely wasted at 2 am, then left the hotel at 6 am to play rugby. THAT'S tough for ya! I would've been still holding my head, moaning with a massive hangover at noon.
