In the movie Leave the World Behind there were some great scenes where everything stopped working and no one knew what was going on and suddenly computer controlled things like teslas and huge ocean tankers and airplanes went crazy and started crashing into each other and things.

The part that really stuck home with me was that most people could not figure out what the hell was going on until days after the initial attack because there was no way for anyone to communicate with each other. Everyone just thought it was a power outage in their local area.

They were lucky this time. If they don't learn from it then the Russians and the Chinese and anyone else who can will take advantage of that.
